Abstract
Saga about the Benestad family from 1586 to the time the saga was written (1953). Starts with Aslak Knutson Stokkeland, which lived around 1591, his son was named Jens Aslakson Benestad. Also contains transcriptions of documents regarding Aslak: land he bought, notes and letters from the trials regarding the murder his son, Jens, committed, and letters Aslak wrote himself.
