The Rogaland/Stavanger Stevne took place in different areas in America from 1919 to 1941, and it was for Norwegians in America, celebrating where they came from: the beautiful south west coast of Norway, and especially Rogaland. The songs are written in Norwegian, and praise the country and Rogaland, but also showing appreciation for America and the possibilities they have gotten here.
