Biographical / Historical
The saga takes place on Skuvø, Faroe Island in the 10th century. Notes Sigmund Brestesson’s life as he gains power in the Faroe Island, and creates strong connections with Norwegians rulers. One of these rulers is King Olaf Trygveson, which christened Norway. Sigmund, under the order of Olaf, brought Christendom to the Faroe Islands.
