The certification was written on June 2, 1877. Since the document is handwritten, a typed version of part of the content in Norwegian was added to this collection on July 5, 2001.

Gulbrand Gulbrandsen was born in Tysvær, Rogaland c.1848, and received his certification of citizenship in 1877. He paid 25 kroner to become a Norwegian citizen.
