Letters from Norwegian immigrants who settled in Washington state, written to Kirsti and Lars Kinsarvik back home in Norway. The letters span more than a decade in the lives of these families and describe events both in the United States and Norway.

This is the autobiographical account of an unknown Norwegian immigrant who came to America with his family when he was eleven years old and settled in Wisconsin. The date of 1954 was added to the first page, but it is not known exactly when the account itself was written.
